So beautiful. Years of history with the area occupied originally by Native American tribes, then English settlers, and now, a very diverse population -- yet so much of the area is still well preserved as it was before outsiders arrived.
There is Black's Creek where the tides were used to run a grist mill. There's the beautiful Wollaston beach where clams were dug and fish were caught. There is a salt marsh and meadows along the way.
Today, kids take sailing lessons on the lake -- and there's canoeing, picnics, and swimming.

Also, there is the tour of President John Adams' estate, birth place, summer home, and burial grounds. Not to be missed.
