ATTN: New Price Hikes Again!! My family used to be loyal followers every summer since they opened. What’s going on now with the new pricing is just ridiculous. Last year fish tacos were $8 and nachos were $7. A month ago they opened up to a new jump in pricing at fish tacos for $10 and nachos for $10. Ok fine I get it, inflation stinks and I didn’t complain. The tacos are good. But after just returning again recently the prices have risen AGAIN since they already reopened at higher prices. Fish tacos are now $13!! We are talking 2 skimpy mini tacos with a couple inches of fried fish each in a single tortilla. You need a couple orders a person to be full. All other taco meats went up the same. Shame on you! Also ice cream prices hiked up $2 each size since last year. Kiddie scoops now $4.50. Really Baja Box? Read your crowd of local families and beach goers looking for affordability. You are not a fancy place. You have picnic tables. You have a low overhead. Taco ingredients are cheap. This is just greed now and you are going to lose A LOT of customers. We have no prob paying for good food from a local business but you now look like greedy sneaks. What’s next year- fish tacos for $18? Get...

I've been coming to Baja Box since it opened and I've never had a bad meal. My go-to is the grilled fish tacos. You get two fish tacos. Some places you might get three but these are full of fish meat and fresh ingredients rather than a skimpily put together trio. The whitefish is marinated and well seasoned and the accompanying usual Mexican taco ingredients are fresh and delicious as is the sauce. I've had the fried fish and fried shrimp tacos as well and they were both excellent. It's also an ice cream place and everybody seems to leave the window smiling and happy with the quality and quantity. Prices are reasonable. The tacos are $13 and well worth it. I've been disappointed other places with more expensive fish tacos. The staff is quick and efficient and while there can be a line at times everything is made to order and I've never had to wait very long. They have enclosed a countertop seating area so when it's too windy, hot or cold there is a place to sit inside and eat your food without your napkins blowing away. They have picnic tables outside. This is right next to the Clam Box. There is free parking across the street...

Our third time to Baja Box and we are still delighted with their tacos.

I love the grilled chicken tacos marinated with cilantro lime and served with cotija cheese. The Salsa Verde (extra) goes perfectly with it.

If cilantro isn’t your thing, the chicken tinga tacos are also tasty.

My husband’s favorites include the fried fish tacos and the fried shrimp tacos. He also likes the non-fried fish tacos, but he prefers the crispy goodness of the fried.

Each order of tacos comes with 2 tacos of the same variety, so the prices are reasonable.

I look forward to someday trying the Taco Salad—once I can pull myself away from the grilled chicken tacos. šŸ˜†

Service is pretty quick, even when there is a line.

Outdoor ordering and seating only, but the view of Boston across the water and the rest of the bay is lovely.

There is plenty of parking along the beach on Quincy Shore Drive.

I definitely recommend Baja Box for a delicious al fresco...

I've only ever come here a few times for ice cream, lured in by the sign proclaiming soft-serve and its close proximity to the beach. They have NEVER had soft-serve (the entire season of 22 as of the writing of this message) and while the ice cream is fine (limited flavor selection) it is nothing special either. I got candy bits in a cup with a cone on top and it was good but would not go out of my way for it. If you come here I'd go for a slushie, those are nice and refreshing on a hot day. The ice cream can take a bit of a long time to come on a busy day. I've never tried there food but would be open to it. There is only outside seating and it can be limited. This place also gets super crowded at peak times. I'd grab your food then hope across the street and sit on the walk along the beach.

You need to try Baja Box! It is only open in the spring/summer season, and boy I’ve been counting down the days. They are currently open for business and worth the drive out to Quincy shore. There’s not much in the way of seating but you can order your grub and cross the street to eat at the beach. I HIGLY suggest the Baja fish tacos, they are the absolute best. Everything here is high quality and very tasty though, so any option is a good one.

Enjoyed the Baja Box Nachos, Grilled Fish Tacos and Baja Shrimp tacos last night overlooking the beach! The pickled onion, avocado crema and wasabi cucumber sauce on the grilled fish tacos = perfection! The nachos are loaded with cotija cheese, black beans, and all the expected toppings. This is good food, people.
