Misty's Consignments — Attraction in Rancho Mirage

I can’t wait to go back to this place…I just have to win the lottery first so I can buy EVERYTHING! And six houses to put it all in. This store has so much fun stuff. If you’re not independently wealthy and actually must adhere to a budget, I recommend walking in prepared. Know what you’re looking for, and if you don’t know where it is, ask. Unless you are a master of self control, just put 1 foot in front of the other and don’t turn your head. You will want to buy everything. Even their ugly stuff is interesting fun ugly, not regular ugly. Misty’s has plenty of regular, traditional items for more conservative folks, but it’s peppered with objects that are quirky and funky and just waiting for the right weirdo(a compliment, not insult)to...

As the owner of a high-end vacation rental company, I shop at Misty's four to five times a month. Misty has a keen design sense and is very selective about what she accepts into consignment. Consequently, you won't find "garage sale" pieces or prices. What you will find is high quality furniture, accessories and artwork, tastefully displayed and priced to sell. Misty and her team of friendly, knowledgeable assistants will go out of their way to help you find something special without being pushy. TIP: If you find that perfect piece (and you probably will), BUY IT! .... because it most likely won't be...

Misty's offers a vast selection of furnishings that range in prices and decades. I've never seen such a huge selection of patio furniture as well as vintage funishings/art/collectables at any other consignment store in the valley. Just when you think you've finished....there's another room! There's also an onsite jewelry consignment area. The pricing is very reasonable here, a percentage is taken off the longer the item sits....but nothing ever gathers dust in this place. The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable and not pushy.
