We ordered the fried tofu, drunken noodles with chicken and the mango sticky rice.
The chef was kind and made the fried tofu the way we like it, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The sweet and sour dipping sauce tasted like water with a few drops of sweet and sour sauce mixed in with chopped peanuts on top. This appetizer could have been good with a better sauce.
The pad kee mao/Drunken Noodles were exceptionally delicious! We ordered the spice level at medium and it was just right. I highly recommend this dish.
Another of our favorites is always mango sticky rice. My husband ordered it and the waiter brought it out very quickly! It was disappointing that it wasn’t made fresh. The rice was very cold and a bit hard. They brought it out on a regular plate, but gave us paper plates to eat it on. Very strange!
Regarding the service, the female server was nice and responsive. The male server wouldn’t look at us as he walked by and when my husband would flag him down to ask for napkins and order dessert, he didn’t acknowledge it. He just walked away and would return with it.
In the future, I would only consider ordering the drunken noodles to go. We won’t...
Read moreThis place just opened 13 days ago and it shows. The decor looks bare and not very warm and welcoming. They are awaiting a liquor license but have tea and soda. The menu is very good and varied. But, service on a very slow Sunday evening (we were the only table there tonight), was lacking. They were out of several menu items. The wait for the food was slow. They were slow to bring drink refills. For a 6-person group, they automatically posted a 18% tip to the bill because we were a "big group". Most places start at 8 in the party. Furthermore, if you are in a group, you would have the impression that the food for the entire group would be served at the same time. However, it came out phases. One person's entrée was entered wrong, resulting in a delay before he received the right order. Suggestion - the wait staff should be trained to recognize a Thai food newbie at a table and take on a more guidance role and make suggestions. Bottom line - this place has potential to become a good place to go to. I'll hold back for a few months before I consider going back. Thai Smile, which is close by is much...
Read moreI was craving Thai food specifically Pad Thai and because of the reviews decided to order here. And I was very disappointed. The serving was like Panda Express. The noodles were almost mushy. There wasn’t enough chicken. I had to ask for extra peanut sauce because apparently when I ordered online, I somehow missed indicating that I wanted peanut sauce. And they charged me $1. I mean, isn’t that why you get Pad Thai?… for all that yummy peanut sauce goodness? I also got a Thai ice tea, which was good. But I literally paid $30 for this order. Never again. Maybe it’s better if you dine-in? As a marketing pro, I advise my clients to ensure that to-go orders are generous. And that you pack napkins and silverware and some peanuts and sauce. And maybe even a couple of ginger candies. If you do nothing else, there are 2 things that will drive your success: Customer Happiness (reviews) and Employee Happiness (loyalty and attention to details and...
