A safe place to walk alone or with someone. Two roads for walking the time I need and one car’s street beside. I started to come here because the doctor recommended me to do something that I like and of course I love hiking. I was with a lot of anxiety for the routine of doing the something, work and housecleaning. I was living the stories from the tv shows, then I started to live my own life and now I’m here on the top of the mountain. Waiting for my next trip to a lake near me.

Park in the upper lot of the Rancho Mirage City Hall and you'll be right at the base of the trail. The trail is a little narrow and rocky at first but gets better. At the top you'll currently find a Christmas tree set up and a bench to enjoy the view from before continuing your hike. Hiking or sturdy non slip shoes are best.

Great hike. You can make it as easy or as difficult as you want. Many variations to jump on other trailers. Located behind RM city hall. Usually pretty quiet and not a lot of people traffic like other hikes. Great view of planes landing for you aviator fans.

Very short uphill trail that takes you to a nice scenic spot overlooking a section of the Coachella valley.. it connects to the Jackrabbit trail which then connects to the roadrunner trail.. the trail is considered easy.. but here in the desert the heat is brutal so make sure you have water good shoes and be aware there's been snakes spotted so caution is always a good thing... and like always please go by the leave no trace policy and leave it better than...

Nice trail up the hill and overlooking the city. Major plus that it is dog friendly because so many trails ban dogs now! Our pets enjoyed the chance to get out with us. Note on that: we ran into a couple with their dog off-leash (and didn’t obey them) and found several places where loser pet owners did not pick up their pet waste - be a responsible pet owner and quit ruining it...
