Palm Springs Spa Guide: 9 Healing & Affordable Day Passes You Need Now

Sunstone Spa was wonderful🤗 As you eh get you can feel the serenity. We checked in and we taken back to the women's locker room, we were assigned a locker and given a robe and slippers. We only paid admission and decided we will have treatments the next time. With admission you have access to the indoor jacuzzi, sauna and steam room(eucalyptus). There's also a women's lounge where you wait for treatments they have motorized zero gravity chairs with massager😝 There is a coed lounge where you can chill with your man, there's snacks and cold water. This area leads to the private pool area that is only accessible to spa patrons. It has a cabana area which has it's own jacuzzi. It also has an outside meditation space. You can order food and drinks in the pool area and they study have free mocktails which were very refreshing. The shower area is clean and they have everything you can think of from body wash, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, deodorant, more hair products. It has a nice area to do your hair and make up. Fetisa and Francesca were fabulous, they assisted with all needs and any questions, they're customer service was above and beyond. This is now our new spa spot it's very serene and peaceful it's our oasis in the desert.

One of my fav spas in the Coachella valley/Palm Springs area. The services are a bit pricey (for the area) in my opinion - $80 for pedicure, almost $200 for a massage however they do offer a day pass for $75 should you choose not to do a service. The amenities are clean and typically operational which include - indoor jacuzzi (for women), outdoor jacuzzi for men, individual steam rooms, saunas, relaxation lounges with zero gravity chairs and a co-ed relaxation lounge with teas, water, nuts and fruit as snacks. Outside in the back, there is a small co-ed outdoor pool, jacuzzi and lounge chairs. Beware of insects outside by the pool, there are always bees/wasps outside who have stung guests in the past, the spa maintenance team needs to manage this area better so guests can enjoy the outdoor areas as well. Food and beverage service is offered outdoors.

I'm writing a review because every time I go here, the service is next level. My last visit I was there with my mom in October 2022 to have a spa day before her birthday. I loved every minute of it. As soon as you walk in the doorway there is this amazing smell of essential oils that makes you forget about everything and glad you're about to check in for the spa! My personal favorite is the sauna and hot jacuzzi. The spa area is clean, organized, modern, and very relaxing. The snacks are healthy and there is also fresh drinking water throughout the spa. The attendants were very informative and attentive to our experience. I was able to order lunch from the spa area which was then delivered to me while I was out relaxing by the pool. It was effortless and made my visit much more relaxing as I didn't have to get redressed and leave the spa to go to the restaurant. The only suggestion I would make is to have a gluten-free option in the snack area, its not a necessity but it would be nice to have that option. As we were checking out, my mom received a birthday gift box with spa goodies inside, which was so nice of a detail because it was unexpected and it made her feel special. Thank you Felicia, Francisca, and Rosa for making my mom's birthday spa day so relaxing...

Nice facility, with really lovely touches (soft blankets, relaxation spaces, snacks, etc). The saunas weren't exactly usable for me personally due to the harsh scents in both, but what most detracted from the experience is that both me and my partner had disappointing massages - his masseuse didn't focus on the areas he asked, didn't pay attention to his pain during the massage and made it feel like she was just going through the motions (with a very light touch despite it supposedly being a deep tissue sports massage). As for me, my masseuse did do a very good deep tissue massage, but he also made me feel bad about how tense my muscles were (how tiring, how much of a work out it was, etc ) - I didn't mind at first, he was joking with me in general so all in good fun, but the repeated phrases to that end, especially when this is something I struggle with due to a chronic condition, was pretty unpleasant by the end of the 90min session. Personally, I wouldn't come here again but I think you could have a great experience if you are looking just for a light touch and...
