Waters Cafe — Restaurant in Rancho Mirage

We staid at Agua caliente for 4 day. Despite planing on getting out more we spent most of our time there. Over all we had a great experience. The majority of the staff inside was great. During our stay we did not meet everyone that worked there but these are some notable mentions. At the 360° Sports Bar we primarily interacted with Nicole. She was great she was very attentive and respectful. Nicole had a great sarcastic humor that made interacting fun and keep us wanting to swing by to say hi. Next up is Deon he was at the main bar. While we were not there for to long he was engaging respectful and great to converse with. We only saw him one night but the next day as we passed in the casino he made sure to stop and say hi. Lastly inside was the Waters Cafe, all the staff was great. They all had amazing attitudes great recommendations on what to choose to eat. Each one was amazing so I will just do a shout out to some of the most memorable individuals who helped make our stay great, Elizabeth, Ivan, Emilia and Aaron thank you guys. Now to the outside we went to the pool several times. The first day was fine and we, got served in a reasonable amount of time. We went to the bar the rest of our time that day. The second day is were it went down hill. We came to the pool and noticed the table next to us had an empty bucket and dishes that had obviously been there a while. We sat and waited for a server to come by. We waited 50 minutes and no one even came to our side of the pool. We watched them attend to other guests but not us. No one had cleaned up the table at this point either but a nother person had sat down and consolidated the mess. I then approached the bar for drinks and service. As we walked up I could hear them saying "They have an attitude and expect us to serve them when they are that far...". At this point I was definitely irritated so we left the pool. The next day they were considerably more attentive but is kind of left a sour taste in our mouths about visiting the pool. The room was great average but good. Everything was clean through out the whole hotel. The only complaint I had about the hotel room was we left early around 7. We woke up at 6am and tried to take a shower. We had to run the water for 30 minutes before it got hot. Our room was on the 15th floor I am not sure if the bathroom fixtures are on there own recirc lines or not. The lavs got hot instantly but the tub and shower again didn't for 30 minutes. That is about it I personally am not a huge casino person but if you like casinos this would be a good choice there isn't much in walking distance. So be prepared to take a lyft, or taxi if you want to venture out. Most of the food in the casino is heavier so it's hard to get lighter foods. Hope this helps its a...

I wouldn't recommend... visited on December 14th and December 15th had dinner on the 14th and breakfast on the 15th. Dinner service the runner who gave me my order had attitude because I asked for another plate and then I said is that a problem and he didn't acknowledge and I said never mind and then started to eat the ribeye steak at all you get is potatoes and no bread the steak was tough and chewy but the waiter name Juan never came back to see if my steak was okay. And then never came once while he was gabbing to another table for a few minutes so then I got up and let manager know what I had experienced. Sunday morning I visited at opening around 6:00 a.m. and there was nobody there,so I decided to sit down and then I changed my mind to get the order to go, and the hostess very rude as it looked like she just rolled out of bed because she she kept scrubbing her face with her hand up and down across her nose and even picked her nose and I said do you always scrub your face and pick your nose and she didn't like because I called her out on her unsanitary practices in the food service industry, who wants anybody picking their nose and scrubbing their face continually handling the menus and the food order to be given to me and I did not see her use any hand sanitizer or anything after I mention this. The waitress was also rude, as I went over to where she was in putting the order in the computer , and I just repeated how I wanted the order and she abruptly says, "I got it!" , in a snotty way so my experience with this place.. I would never recommend, or go back. And also, the burger for breakfast was not listed on the menu as I saw recommended online for their Cafe she had asked if I wanted caramelized onions ,and I said that will be fine and when I went back to the room to eat it, there was no caramelized onions!! I believe that they did it intentionally !! So I reiterate, I would stay away from this place don't like getting treated the way I was treated and the food was lousy at best. Where do I begin. We go to this casino quite often and always wanted to fry waters cafe there. The waitress was horrible to begin with. No one came to take our order for almost 20 to 30 minutes! No water no waitress nothing! I got up went grabbed a waitress and told us she will get our girl. Waited another 10 minutes she shows up apologizes and takes our order. I ordered 1 coke and waters for both of us and 2 club sandwiches! 20 minutes later she returns and asked what kind of bread we want. We both said white. Another 20 minutes goes by and no drinks arrive. Not even water! I got up found our waitress and asked for our drinks. She said sorry she had forgotten. She returns with 2 glasses and were HALF FULL OF COKE! K I SAID WHAT IS THIS. She said I thought you were sharing! I said what? No..I want a coke she just wants water. We never received our water and she left our 2 half filled glasses of coke. Another 15 minutes being there am hour now we received the absolute worse club sandwiches I've EVER RECEIVED IN MY LUFE! BURNED TOSTED BREAD WE COULDN'T EVER CHEW AND COLD! The turjey was so dry it was ridiculous! Its like there was no mayo at all in this sandwguch! Cold hard bacon. No lettuse. It was a joke! We both ate only 1/4 of our meal and pushed our plates off to the side. Another 20 minutes pass and no return visit or waitress. I walked around till I found her asked the bill. She showed up 10 minutes later with the bill asking if there was anything else we needed. I told her ...her service was horrible! The food was horrible and uneatable ...she didn't reply. I paid almost 60.00 plus tip and left hungry and upset! Its been close to 2 hours now we were there! We walked across the casino and ordered 2 cheeseburgers at the other deli and ate there and we enjoyed that!
