Del Taco — Restaurant in Cathedral City

I went thru drive thru and the lady taking my order spoke very broken English it was very hard to understand her and took longer than expected for me to order three items. When I got to the window the young girl giving me my order was very courteous and amicable. I asked her if there was a trash can for my cup and the lady that had taken my order came from behind raised her voice to me in a very rude way ,snatched the cup from the young girl and almost thru it at me in her broken down English said ,trash outside!the young girl was mortified, I felt sorry for her I don’t know who this lady is but she is very rude and has anger issues.I am traveling thru California for the weekend love DelTaco but I find it unacceptable to conceive such behavior. There is decent customer care and there is bad customer care. Both of these would a major upgrade here. They gave me the wrong order (chili fries). When I arrived at my destination and called them to ask how to correct the order they informed me that I had to come back immediately with the fries. I said I would not be able to come back immediately. And was informed there was nothing they could do. The manager said she was leaving at 10. So I called the customer service line. They issued (emailed) me a ten dollar coupon. I thought that was fine and fair. However a few days later when I went to present the coupon they said they could not scan it and that I would have to go back home and print it out, then return and they would see it worked. I was completely shocked when I found out that I was only allowed ONE salsa packet PER taco!!!! How this business is still open is beyond me?!?! I asked again because I couldn't believe my ears and the lady behind the counter just pointed to a sign where this was protocol. Normally I would have argued on how this was possible, but after seeing many videos of people arguing at fast food restaurants I just walked away and left my food there even though I had already paid for it, refusing to eat the way THEY wanted me to. The only comfort I felt walking away is that this establishment will soon go under and even though it is PROBABLY not their fault. These fast food workers will lose their jobs sooner than later....
