This public beach on Sebago Lake is a hidden gem and perfect for a summer day. One of the best new features is the snack shack, offering a great selection of burgers, hot dogs, fries, snacks, cold treats, and refreshing drinks—just what you need after a swim or while soaking up the sun. The facilities are well-maintained, with clean bathrooms, a shower to rinse off the sand, and even a pump to inflate your water toys.
Keep in mind, though, parking is limited—there are a little more than 100 parking spots available. We arrived roughly 30 minutes after the beach opened and just made it in. After that, only a few more cars were allowed before the lot filled up, and when we left a few hours later, there was already a line of cars waiting to get in. So arriving early is definitely worth it.
The lake itself is beautifully clean, and the sand is soft and inviting, making it easy to walk right into the water. There are also plenty of trees along the shoreline, offering natural shade for those who want a break from the sun. It’s a great mix of convenience, beauty,...
Read moreI live local and my family and i paid for a season pass paid 70 dollars for it. A substantial amount in this day. I didn't mind the amount being we lived local and my teenager is out of school wife works at home so they can go during the week and or on weekends whenever. What they don't tell you is that most days unless u get there at 7 and wait 2 hours for them to open your not going in because the tourists take up all the parking spots. Ive calculated 10 days that we have not been able to get in because off this issue. We have only been able to get in 4 time s this whole summer i could have just paid minium day fee. last year we didn't get the park pass because i didn't think it was worth it i should of stuck with my gut because its really is not. Park is nice when u can get in, staff are great concession reasonable , water comfortable, wild life in abundance. Getting in is the issue that's why im giving...

The staff was fairly rude… when we went in they told us at the gate that they may need to close early due to the storms but that we’d get a pass to come back another day if that was the case. They did end up closing shortly after so we stopped at the gate and asked about it and the lady rolled her eyes at us and said no that when we came in we were taking a risk… I told her that this is what the staff told us when we came in, not something we just came up with on our own to get free stuff… she asked us to identify the staff and rolled her eyes again and said she’d “talk to her”. As a business owner you should stand by what you tell your customers. I would not recommend coming here on a day when storms are possible, but at the same time on sunny days you will be hard pressed to find a...
