Hawk Ridge Park — Attraction in Raymore

Small little park with a lake and has a track that you can either walk or ride your bike on About a quarter of a mile around. Road bike is acceptable. Great for fishing! Has bathrooms. New recent parking on the Northeast side of the lake off Sunset Rd.

It also has a small stage for local bands to perform music just on the Southeast side of the lake.

Has a big playground on the northwest side of the lake and shelter for small parties.

Just north of the lake are some off-road mountain bike trails.

On the far west side of the lake about 300 ft away is a concrete basketball court and a small track to walk on or ride your bike on. There are also a few soccer fields.

I absolutely loved my visit to this park! It’s a beautiful, peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The walking paths are well-maintained, and there are plenty of areas to sit and relax. What was once just a walking and bike trail is now a place to gather for the whole family! They just finished adding a well spread out playground for kids! I believe if you brought some snacks and water you could very easily spend 2+ hours here.

I was very pleased with how they designed the play space and it is made to be sensory friendly with padded ground and a musical area including a steel drum and a xylophone/chime feature.

I recommend bringing your family to Hawkridge Park to aid in staying active!
