We visited this subway a couple days ago on Saturday, May 9th and it was the worst customer service experience I have ever encountered.
We ordered our food online around 130pm to give the staff adequate time to prepare the food before we arrived. We arrived around 2pm and we pulled up to the drive through. I told a young boy about my online order and he said “it will be out in just a minute.” We could tell they hadn’t even started making our food yet. So it’s frustrating that he couldn’t have just said that, and rather lied and said it would be out in a minute. Secondly, they worked SOOOO slow. I’ve never seen 2 people work so slowly making FAST food. We waited for over 20 minutes for our food, on top of the already 30 minutes we waited after it was ordered online. I will say that the young girl working had a sweet countenance, but did work very slow. That CANNOT be said for the young boy there, however. I have NEVER witnessed such a rude, punk attitude of a young man. We waited very patiently for our food. Once they finally gave it to us, I asked if we could have a couple of cookies since we waited almost an hour for a couple of sandwiches. The boy very rudely said “no I cannot do that. We are very busy and did the best we could.” (We were the only people in line, and when we pulled up they were standing around talking). ?? I said “well that’s frustrating because we waited for a long time and aren’t asking for much, and we won’t be back if you can’t even have quality customer service.” He replied with “that’s fine, you just pulled up and didn’t even call in to tell us you put in an online order” in a very snarky tone with an eye roll. They forgot to give me my drink I had paid for so I said “well I’ll go ahead and take the drink I payed for.” And he said “well what kind do you want?” (Like maybe go look at the online order to see what I ordered!!?? You’ve had an hour to do so...) Then he said in a super rude way “that will just be a small drink you’re getting.”
There were other very snide and terribly rude comments he made throughout this process, but no need to put them all in here. He should be fired or at least have a stern talking to. He CLEARLY didn’t own this store because he behaved like a punk kid that has never been taught to work hard or have any sort of kindness for anyone but especially customers.
I feel bad for whoever owns this store...your help is super slow and the young boy was the most snarky and rude person I have ever seen in customer service. Read moreWe just visited the Subway in Raymore and let me tell you the service was awful! As we entered, it took a bit for the employees (4) to finish their personal conversations. Then it was "Whatcha want" as a greeting. We asked for a chopped salad (which was still on the menu) and we were told they don't chop them anymore. When we asked why, the employee (no name tag but was all tatted up on arms and neck) rudely responded "It takes too long" When I asked when that started her response "Today" (by now you could tell we were bothering her or she had better things to do than help customers) Then another customer asked about the salad issue and got a "very friendly-sarcasm" I am just doing what I was told. Anyway, this horrible experience continued with us and the customers behind us for a bit. She assembled our salad and said the salad would not be just a blob of meat and cheese, then plopped it on top of the uncut vegetables. I asked the rude employee if she wouldn't mind at least cutting the meat and cheese so it wasn't just a blob on top. As she rolled her eyes and dramatically exhaled, she completed that task. Overall our experience at this location was the worst we have ever had. Now I don't know her backstory, but the impression she left with us was that she either hated her job or just did not like people. We will definitely be driving further away to avoid that location and the stellar customer experience. I Wish they had a survey....
Read moreFirst time at this subway. I ordered ahead of time knowing that dinning in was not an option because of COVID-19 precautions. Once I got to the store I found the door was locked and the drive thru was unresponsive. I took a lap to make sure there were workers inside, and there were. When I got back to the drive thru I was told "can you like wait a second before driving off again" in a surprisingly unfriendly tone. I gave my apologies and explained the reason for my driving off but she maintained what I can only describe as a bratty hostile tone. Truthfully this left myself and my partner at a loss for words, especially since I myself work in the service industry and know that there is no justification for talking down to a customer. I understand the day was probably dragging on and they probably would rather have been home staying safe and healthy during this pandemic and I do appreciate their service as an essential worker, but none of this justifies an attitude toward those you're providing a service for.
