Taste of China is a Chinese restaurant that specializes in carry-out food. It's located in the Price Chopper shopping center along highway 58. I have been there twice and found the food to be reliably average. The facilities are clean and easily accessed and appear to be handicap accessible. The food comes packaged in either a 2-piece plastic container with a clear top or the universally recognized Chinese take-out box with a metal handle. We tried the Shrimp Lo Mein, Beef Chow Mein, and the Hunan Triple. My 11-year-old loves noodles and tried to claim the Shrimp Lo Mein all for himself. I found it to middle of the road and enjoyable. The Hunan Triple was my favorite of the three entrees. The Beef Chow Mein was my least favorite of all.

We used to love this place, but it has seriously gone downhill. The food isn’t nearly as good as it used to be. We decided to give it another try tonight and ordered takeout, but after taking a bite of noodles I felt something sharp and painful in my mouth. I pulled out this small metal wire. It hurt the roof of my mouth and didn’t make me want to finish my food. I’m very disappointed in not only the taste of the food, but now the safety of it. Needless to say, we will not be returning.

Customer service was horrible. I ordered by phone from the online menu. When I arrived the price was higher and I was told there was no online menu. That was a lie! Good customer service is honoring what was online. My order was also wrong. When I asked for it to be corrected the plate was snatched out my hand. I was told that's not what I ordered. I gave 2 stars because the food was good but I will not return.

Wow, if they are the best in Belton, then they are the only Chinese restaurant in Belton. That was disgusting. I ordered Chicken Fried Rice. The rice looked like Rice-a-roni and and was clumpy. The chicken in the rice did not look like chicken. It was dark and slimy. The texture was weird for chicken. Kind of rubbery and chewy. I had to spit it out.

You could do better by going to the grocery store and getting something out of the freezer section. It would be cheaper too. I paid around 7 bucks for that nasty...

Good, but not great. I usually get the beef and broccoli and my beef is good, but the broccoli is usually to crunchy. My husband ordered the generals chicken and it was hard as a rock, nearly broke his tooth. They have fantastic noodles and crab rangoon though, but unfortunately very poor customer service. The guy who takes my order is ALWAYS rude. They also give small portions, especially for the price. Since my last visit I have found another Chinese restaurant in Raymore. I will no longer be going to...
