Nancy and her amazing team at Talk of the Town have once again outdone themselves!! I’ve been coming here for 15+ years for hands down the best costumes and vintage clothing in town! This year was Sweeny Todd and was so much better than the ridiculously expensive and cheap looking version from Amazon. Can’t wait for next year!!!

Best costume store hands down. Any thing you want to become you can find the oufit here. They have a variety of prices to fit everyones budget. Also rental options. I absolutely love this store! Very unique, nostalgic, and quirky. One of my favorite shops. You never know what you are going to find.

I went there yesterday here a picture of the few errings I got me and my boyfriend he took me there so in love with that place it's bigger than what I thought and I'm already at 50 points if I get another $50 I get I think 20% off of earrings.

The real deal! If you can't find what you're looking for here for vintage or costumes, there's something wrong with you. There are really only a handful of real vintage shops in Cincinnati, Talk of the Town, Gayle's, Pixel 19, Sweet Dahlia, and Chicken Lays An Egg.Talk of the Town sits at the tippy top of that list! They are definitely the #1 spot for selection, friendly and knowledgeable staff (ask for Nancy with vintage help if possible, she's an expert if there ever was one), and value. There's no price gauging at this place like some other pretentious "upscale I'm cool because I'm in the latest soon to be unaffordable neighborhood" vintage shops that I won't mention. I mean, 2 floors packed full of killer vintage awesomeness at beyond resonable prices! Why wouldn't you go here first? Another really cool aspect of the shop is the ability to rent most of the costumes and some the later vintage.

This is and will always be my go-to shop for vintage, costumes, hosiery, jewelry, and so much more. You wanna look like a million bucks and get friendly personal shopping help? Then skip the pretentious city shops that charge you $75 for a shift dress and...

I'm not 100% sure how to rate this place... but even if you don't buy anything its still awesome to look around and try stuff on!

This place really has 2 (maybe 3) basic parts to it. When you walk in and go to the right, there are costume pieces galore! You can find just about anything here. Wanna 60's style flower power dress? 80's poofy prom dress? Wanna rock out like MJ complete with fedora and sequined gloves? I mean seriously, there's a little something for everyone!

Then back to the entrance area and theres a bunch of jewelry, mianly costume, some vintage, some normal, and random nick-knacks.

Then up the stairs to the right is a vintage shop heaven. There's outfits, hats, purses, accessories, just about everything you can think of. Need a derby hat? they've got quite a few to choose from! I think the coolest thing about this place though, is that they give you a rental option, even on their vintage stuff. If you decide you want to buy it after renting it? They'll put your rental towards the price of it! They're very nice and helpful here too.

Yes the pricing can be a bit steep but when it comes to vintage pricing, its not...

My daughter went shopping her with her friend. She’s been wanting to go for months, ever since my sister who is a regular there told her about Talk of the Town. My sister has shopped there for years! She loves vintage and retro styles. However, when I called my daughter to see how her visit there went my daughter said, it was a bad experience. I asked her why, and she explained that the ladies who worked there kept following them and making comments about everywhere they went in the store. If they picked up something they liked they told them that they could “place the item on the counter” , while other shoppers in the store could carry around what they wanted to purchase. She said the younger gal working told them, “you’re making my boss nervous.” They finally decided to just make their purchase and leave. I told her I’m sorry you had to deal with being treated that way; but unfortunately it’s intentional bias. Some people will automatically will judge...
