Safety warning: Consider bringing a friend and something that you can use to defend yourself with.

It's possible to meet some decent people and have a good time here, but of the 5 bars that I am familiar with in Reading, this one is hands down the most dangerous.

There is no security or bouncer, and not all of the bartenders are effective at addressing the presence of hostile guests. Some of the dregs of society take advantage of this weakness; violence, hostility, and drama are common...

Very conservative place. Fights break out easy BUT it still has a homey dysfunctional family vibe. I love all of the bartenders, except one.
