My husband and I have supported the college and programs for many many years. Sadly the stadium was renovated and prices increased but the service and what they offer lacks any motivation to go to the games. We watched all home games at home on tv after the first year of the renovation and for the first time in 40 years we did not renew our season tickets and club seats. The price increased and our seats decreased in leg and elbow room scrunched like sardines- oh but there are padded seats. The club has a menu for which they are “ sold out” of almost all menu items before they begin selling. You’re forced to eat hot dogs that are half cold or getting hard buns and drinks with no fizz, among other food issues. Not to mention we’re required to wear bands but the door person let’s everyone in and we can’t get in and use the bathroom because the club is at full capacity. Not cool. Kick out those that don’t belong in there, give us better food, give us better lara ta if you’re going to ncreade our price by 1/3! Really bumming us out! We support the team but can’t afford the discomforts. Please fix these issues!!! We’re concerned the school will eventually lose its support and fall short...
Read morewell, pack football is currently a disaster. this team is lost. they have little or no identity, no theme or platform from which to build. the lost last night to previously winless Colorado state stings hard knowing they lost last year's head coach and several stand out players to this school. I'm sure the feeling of dejected must permeate the entire program. regardless of this season's remaining wins/losses, this particular wolfpack squad's character will be tested and depending on how they chose to represent, depending on what choice they make to respond to this challenge; only they themselves can determine how they'll be remembered and regarded. if anything, they have put themselves in a position to go down as being a team in the history of football as having the most grit, the most heart, the most drive, passion and determination or they can choose the easy road and point fingers, rude out the season with all losses and just "fold". so pack football what are you truly made of? Mackay stadium is great and operated by...
Read moreThe stadium is the pride of Northern Nevada. There are some draw backs when it comes to purchasing tickets for football games. The ticket office is located at the bottom of the steep incline that leads to the stadium gate in Lawlor Events Center this is not a problem if you have tickets in hand when you reach the gate but if you are expecting to buy them at the gate prepare for the long walk back and another long walk up. There is a no alchohol policy at the concession stands after halftime during games. If you want a beer during the second half better buy them early. With construction of newer buildings parking has been pushed further out than it had been in the past wear some good walking shoes when you go. Although these all seem like negativity it is in fact a great place to enjoy a game. And Nevada fans are usually good spirited when the game is going making it...
