Be aware you might lose rolled over sessions if you cancel your membership. I was a member for several years and don't know exactly how many I accrued before I finally cancelled (after they raised their price by $10). There is no online statement to tell you how many you have. I did sign the cancellation agreement, which they have reminded me of, which states unused sessions are terminated after 90 days. Really? It was not enforced or mentioned when I came in after the fact. Caring, good customer service would (first off, just give you the gift cards instead of leaving the possibility of losing what has been paid for), have reminded me of what I had left and what I would be losing. I was told that I had a "handful" of sessions that were not able to be unlocked and are lost. The manager was able to unlock 4 other sessions to give me gift cards. Very apologetic, but they got my money so they are not out anything . The manager stated that at the time I cancelled they had just implemented that 90 day policy and are now much better at reminding their clients and implementing the policy. I feel very ripped off for those "handful" of sessions lost that I paid for. I am thankful for the 4 gift cards for the other sessions, but it will be a challenge to be able to go there for a massage when I have negative feelings about this business. I think their policy is in very poor taste & will not become a...
Read moreIt was ok. After I booked the appointment online I got an average of three texts a day reminding me of my appointment along with a phone call and a voice mail. It was a bit to much for me. The moment you walk in they try to sell you their membership and upgrades, I politely declined but they tried to shame me into it. Saying things like “oh your like the only one I’ve had to charge full price to” and “ it’s been such a long time since I’ve charged full price, you know you could save so much money if you just signed up”. The massage was nothing to write home about. I left feeling no tension relief or relaxed. I might be the problem in that because I’m so tight and stressed. But with the stress of fending off their selling pressures who could relax. Also while in the wait room a masseuse walked out talking about how she sold an CBD upgrade but how she’s behind in selling with another masseuse. This place is not a place to relax but to throw your money away. Finally let me show you my personalized recommendations. The only personalize is my name. A name is so...
Read moreGreat front desk customer service arriving, leaving, and checking out for an appointment, great massage and communication from therapists, but good luck getting them to answer the phone.
My dislike is that they don't have card readers for a private transaction. They simply announce what you owe and then ask if you would like to leave a tip and how much. Both things are personal and I don't feel comfortable announcing it to everyone within hearing distance.
My huge complaint and why I gave it three stars is that their gift certificate processes and procedures are shameful. When purchasing gift certificates be very wary and read the fine print. There are many stipulations. One example, they require your guest to provide credit card information just to make an appointment using this prepaid certificate. ASK MANY QUESTIONS BEFORE PURCHASING. They do not provide the small print information verbally up front and only make unprofessional excuses for their failure to do so, without offering...
