Update: I have visited 3 times over the last few months and service has been mediocre at best. The people working have been clueless about the wines, uninterested in keeping glasses full, and more interested in socializing amongst themselves. I am taking a break for now.

Tricities Tap and Barrel is always a great experience. The space is legitimately modern and welcoming. The T&B craftbrew list remains king in the Tricities.

Temple of Bloom Fresh Hop IPA (Skookum and Varietal collaboration) sold out so quickly, which should not surprise anyone who was lucky enough to try some.

I also had a glass of the Proleteriat Merlot and loved the smoothe and flavorful texture. The small plates were incredibly flesh, beautiful, and palate pleasing.

The patio is spacious and comfortable, especially during these strange times.

I would love to visit more, but it is 21 and up for good reason, so logistics are difficult for childcare reasons.

When given the chance I will always come back for the great people who continuously provide fresh plates with excellent wine and...

I wanted to come on here and leave a review for tap and barrel! I celebrated my 21st birthday with my family and friends just yesterday! I will start off with saying the service by the waiters is beyond excellent very proactive and helpful with all of your needs always checking in seeing if your doing ok with drinks food taking care of any and all of your needs! The atmosphere of Tap and barrel is amazing ! Very good music lighting and setup you can really tell the owners have put there all into making T&B be its own special place here in the heart of tri cities! Next would be the food I cannot say good enough things there sliders were my favorite. From the high queality of the meat all the way to the presentation and taste it’s on par with 5 star Michelin restaurants! And the most important part the beer and the wine with almost 100 options it seemed like everything I had was amazing fresh and unique. If your family and friends are in town make sure you stop by T&B you will not be disappointed you will have an awesome time with thank you T&B you guys...

me and my wife wanted to come here for a first time it seems like a pretty nice place from the pictures but when we went in the customer service seem to be lacking quite a bit we wanted to ask for some questions like if we could have our dog come with us on the patio but we never got to ask because the servers seem to just be ignoring us and we're attending a couple people by the bar and not really wanting to help as much as we thought we were very disappointed we were hoping to be able to have this as one of our regular spots but I guess we will have to look for a different place.maybe some other time I'll go back and giving them another chance but my wife doesn't really want to go back there anymore I was thinking maybe they were understaffed that day but still they could have at least acknowledged that us by saying will be right with you or something but we did not even get that very...

Tap & Barrel is one of the best places to come for drinks and food! They always have such a good rotating variety of wine, beers, and ciders. I tried their wine slushy for the first time (not a huge wine person) and I am HOOKED. The appetizers are sooooo yummy too and their menu also rotates. I can't stress enough how delicious the Baked Goat Cheese is with the pickled grapes. If you come at a busy time with a group of friends it can be difficult to get a seat for your party and it can get pretty loud with all the conversation (or find parking!). But if you time it correctly, then the experience is wonderful. I would recommend trying Tap & Barrel during a non-busy time so you can enjoy the establishment for everything it offers. Will always come again 9/10 recommend!

Ahhh!!! This place always escapes my radar & then I go and wonder WHY it’s not on my normal rotation (wait- I have a preschooler…that’s the only reason why!!). Fabulous time tonight: great atmosphere, awesome service, delicious wine (but I’ll approve if you add a variety of bubbles to choose from 😉) and FABULOUS food. Y’all serve up some of the best! The soup (ALWAYS ask about the soup) was bacon, ranch chicken and Dear Lord- it was epic. Imagine the best ever potato soup & then add chicken in a way that doesn’t make it weird: that’s the magic that happened with this one. So maybe make it a staple (except all your soups are this tasty). Thanks for being YOU, tap & barrel. You’re a gem in this town!! Love ya!!
