In my second encounter with Greek cuisine, I have been enraptured by the unparalleled excellence of this experience. The Greek chicken pizza was a symphony of flavors, the fries a masterpiece of crispiness and warmth, and the feta cheese a harmonious accompaniment. The gyro, too, was a revelation of freshness and delectability. The very air in the restaurant is perfumed with tantalizing aromas, and the graciousness of the staff only added to the enchantment (alas, their names elude me). Arriving promptly at 10:58 for a brunch of Greek delights, we were the first to partake, savoring every morsel of the exquisite fare. This has now become my cherished comfort food, a testament to its magnificence! I wholeheartedly recommend this experience to all, a flawless 10 out of 10. The baklava, with its perfectly balanced sweetness, was a delight to the senses, although I must confess a slight struggle in consuming it with finesse. We’ve been loyal fans of Greek Islands Cuisine in Richland for years—it’s been a go-to spot for my family and me, and we’ve had many great meals here over time. When asked where I wanted to eat recently, this was my top pick. Unfortunately, this last visit didn’t live up to past experiences.

I ordered the hummus pita with a skewer of lamb for an additional $8, expecting the classic side skewer presentation. Instead, I received a small portion of chopped lamb on the pita—barely enough to fill a small sauce cup. It felt underwhelming for the price.

I also learned they use cow’s milk feta, which surprised me given the restaurant’s claim to authenticity. As someone who appreciates the traditional touches of Greek cuisine, that was a letdown.

That said, the staff was friendly, and the rest of my family enjoyed their meals. It’s possible I just ordered the wrong dish this time, but overall, this visit left me reconsidering whether...

So good! I usually get the chicken gyro light on the sauce (they do put quite a bit of it on there so if you want a normal amount definitely get light on the sauce) and it's wonderful every time, also it's only like 9 dollars! They make their pita bread from scratch (I believe) and it's incredible! I come here with my boyfriend a lot and order to go because I live pretty close by and I have the time on my lunch break.

I have also ordered their gyro pizza once because I was curious and it was also super delicious! If you order delivery they have a deal where you get their speciality pizzas for 15 bucks and considering the price of pizza around here that's and awesome deal!

They are also super fast, I have never waited longer than 10 minutes for food and their waitresses are very nice. Love this place! 💙
