1/3/24 ,,,,,,3rd time in this particular establishment and always the same, not any of their other establishments just this one, leslie rd. south richland, always rushed to order , always rushed to hand me my ticket , even though I was not done with my plate or drink, my family and i walked in 5 mins to 7 p.m , got seated , (ticket paid out the door by 7:40. family of 5) .had not had time to get jackets off ,when asked what we wanted to drink, two off us settled on water as we were not allowed time to sit and breathe, drinks came to table and IMMEDIATELY asked if we knew what we wanted to eat or if we wanted menus, within 3 mins , she was back wanting to take order, no time to look at menu, felt like the whole " Hurry up and buy" experience. waitress stood there until we made decision, again most of the party just settled for whatever they saw first. most food tasted o.k , not excellent but o.k, my sons plate was very disappointing and i refused to pay for it, waitress came back to explain it was not their fault as they buy their food from outside sources, not my fault either, utilize your quality controI , if you have such a thing in place, if not you should. I /we are not ones to complain or leave reviews, but after the third time of same same i am tired of it.in my experience waiter/waitress waits until party has set down menus and regardless of closing time the patron should always come first. so in closing if you want dinner and you want to eat and have a comfortable amount of time to do so, please show up by 4:30 or you will be force fed, in a joking manner to my family i told them to watch their fingers as they walked out as to not get them pinched in the door in their hurry to lock up, since all wait staff was at the front register seemingly waiting on us to get the hell out, and sure enough the door was getting locked as soon as we walked thru. DAMN at least wait until we are out of ear shot, especially when it was`nt closing time...
Read moreI wish I could give this post ZERO STARS!!!
I went in for lunch today with my daughters, since it was their last day of school and I wanted to treat them. As soon as we walked in the entire restaurant was empty and we waited to be seated over five minutes. The server (Karla) from the start was not friendly at all! She had a look on her face as if she was extremely bothered. I don’t know if she was having a bad day, but she sat us and gave us menus. We’re waiting for over 15 minutes (mind you there’s NOT ONE OTHER CUSTOMER in the restaurant) until I finally had to call her over to take her order, she told me she would be over when she was done what she was doing.
Once our food arrived, my daughter unfortunately found an hair in her food and my food was extremely spicy!! I had to get up to tell the server this since she did not check on us not one time! I let her know that I’m not sure if she was having a bad day or if we just were not the table she wanted to serve. Her whole attitude changed after that. She even laughed at what I was telling her, as if she was making fun of what I was saying.
I called this evening to talk to a manager and the manager sent the message with the same server Karla to tell me that he’s busy and that I could talk to her about my issues. Why would I want to talk to the server who treated me so poorly about my issues? And he calls himself a manager? I don’t even know how this place is still open, I would NEVER recommend this restaurant to ANYONE! Poor service, extremely slow, and horrible customer service! Especially coming from the...
Read moreWe have loved this restaurant for 20 years! It's one of our top two Mexican restaurants in the Tri-cities. I know the pandemic meant some changes needed to be implemented and we've been mindful of that.
I'm just sad that the quality/value of my favorite dish has diminished and doesn't seem to be going back to it's original standard. I've been ordering Arroz con Pollo for 35 of my 40 years of life from EVERY Mexican restaurant I go to. It's absolutely my favorite dish.
Yesterday, I went to lunch with my 2 kiddos and I noticed that all of our portions were reduced in size or were bulked up with extra rice instead of the valuable ingredients. ACP has sauteed mushrooms, onions, peppers, carrots, tomatoes, celery with grilled chicken in this smokey sauce over rice with melted cheese. Lettuce, fresh tomatoes, onions and usually sliced avocado and served with either corn or flour tortillas. My dish had about half an onion sauteed, but ZERO bell peppers of any kind. Half the mushrooms it usually has. Zero avocado. Double the rice. It's also been increased to nearly $19.
I'm not mad, just really disappointed. I wish cannot foresee businesses going back to the standards they had before the pandemic, because they don't have to. And that saddens me. I wouldn't mind paying more, if I was getting what that dish is supposed to be.
But even the kids meals had half the fries and less chicken strips than usual.
I REALLY want them to succeed and be around for generations! That's why we keep going! I just hope by saying something, the owners can evaluate how they will...
