This is a great event to go to. I kept seeing it on IG and FB because I clicked on it by mistake and was like i think thid would be cool to try out. Brought the tickets for a neo soul night and it was amazing. It's a first come first serve type of deal so you buy a ticket for a section and the sooner you get there the better choice of seat you get to choose from. So definitely get there 45 mins before. The greeters where vary nice. The building was definitely historic because they had a basement within a basement lol. The venue was vary nice and the candles set the tone. The musicians where great with their introductions. The music itself was great and some songs definitely had their moments. They allow you to take as many pics as you want before and after and possibly record on the last song. All in all it's a neat event to go to before dinner so if you want, dress for the occasion if that's the case

Last night we went to see the Bridgerton candle light concert and the music did not disappoint. The location was breath taking and architecture was superb. Sadly the air conditioner was not work which made it a bit stuffy in the balcony area but it wasn’t that big of a deal. We paid to have our photo taken and that was a bit disappointing although the photographer took several photos and allowed us to choose one I was disappointed to see that we paid to have the photo printed on an instax (Polaroid) I would have hoped for a better photo considering how much we paid to have the photo taken. All in all the location and the music were amazing. The staff was polite, kind and helpful. I would do it all again minus the photo

First of all, I would like to say how much these concerts have been enjoyed by myself and my friends. The musicians are so engaging they make it super fun to learn about the music that they’re playing , giving us a little bit of backstory to them. The choice of music in each concert that we have been to has never disappointed. Also, the venue is amazing. That building is so beautiful easy parking easy in and out. That’s what makes it so appealing, because it’s not complicated to get to. We will definitely keep coming back!

Very enjoyable! This was the second time my wife and I had the opportunity to attend the Bolling Haxall House for the candle light concert. The only thing I didn't like was me getting a little overheated. I'm not sure there was anything wrong with BHH, but it mostly was due to the 100 plus temperatures outside and the heat load from all of the patrons that came to see the concert. I will go back to support the arts when I can. All in all, it was a lovely night.

Very pretty venue. Staff were very friendly and helpful! I think for the price, the concert could have been a little longer. Maybe have played a couple more classical pieces along with the TV and movie theme songs. Although the ball room was pretty, it would have been nice to be able to get a drink of some kind before or after the performance. Overall, it was a nice evening out in Richmond.

Took my husband to see "The Candlelight Hip Hop Show" for our Anniversary & it did not disappoint 👏 🙌 👌 🤗. We really enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be recommending it to others. The talented musicians were absolutely fantastic, and the show was well put together. We'll done & the venue was perfectly chosen to add to the performance.
