Having seen the strongly positive reviews this park gets, I wonder what sort of dog parks those owners have had to tolerate! This is indeed a dog park, but it offers very little. It's small and there's nary a blade of grass surviving. It's on a very sloped lot and since it's all dirt, I can only imagine the mud bath it must be after a rain storm. The only amenity it offers is one shaded picnic bench and a hose. It's quite difficult to find and there are only a few parking spots. I noticed many dogs being walked on the trail system and by-passing the dog park - I can see why. We just needed to run our mutt enough to put him in the car for the next leg of our trip, so the park "worked" for our purposes, but that's all I can say for it. Sorry, Richmond, hope you can get your officials to give you a bigger, better...
