Halal King Kitchen — Attraction in Richmond

Ok I liked my food..the men was just ok with it..they give you plenty of rice, like a lot...my shawarma chicken plenty....chicken kabob enough..but the lamb kabob, not so much..the men said their rice was dry, the lamb over cooked..my chicken was dry but with the sauces, pretty tasty..I also liked the rice, not dry (the hubby said mine was new rice n his n our son's was from an older batch he saw them putting in with their food orders)..there was a yogurt garlic, I think, sauce I would eat over n over again..that was super tasty..I liked their pita, not sure if it was made in house...the person who waited on me was very nice, offered me hot tea and that was delicious! The staff is very nice.

I am willing to try other dishes and see how they are, compared to the dishes we...

1/27/2024 This place is in my neighborhood, and I've wanted to check it out. I sent the husband to get lunch while I minded our little one. I had the beef shwarma plate, which exceeded my expectations: flavorful rice, well-seasoned beef, and a nice salad with an excellent light olive oil. My little one enjoyed sharing the hummus, beef, and rice and asked for more. I can't wait to try the falafel wrap and other Yemni dishes. Don't sleep in this place.

2/1/2024 I couldn't wait to try this place out again. Omg, I just had a falafel wrap for lunch. So good, and bonus, they had a few french fries in the wrap. The falafel was the right balance of herbs and chickpeas; it was just right, not too soft or a rock. The garlic yogurt is an excellent addition...

The flavors were well-balanced, and it felt like a homemade meal. The staff was friendly and efficient, taking my order quickly and ensuring that everything was prepared just the way I wanted.
