Today I had an opportunity to view an art exhibition of the work of contemporary photographer, Duane Michel in the gallery located inside the Modlin Center for the Arts at the University of Richmond. A wonderful exhibition called "The Portraitist" in the stunning interior of this beautiful building! In another gallery in this same building was an excellent display of minerals and crystals. Highly recommend seeing these two shows if you can.

For the Chinese New Year celebration, one day extends outward to a week & a half. U of R hosted an afternoon of festivities. The Fine Arts Center allowed for this. I would choose a hall though that had a more spacious ingress & egress. It was tight moving around with the flow of people. The Campus is a natural setting that protects a lot of wildlife & natural growth. Impressive. The lawns had dandelion & clover. Great care for our...

Beautiful building housing museums and the Alice Jepson theater, which is a wonderful space to see performances. The theater is intimate, beautiful, and there's not a bad seat in the house. The lighting and acoustics are great. The variety and quality of the performances is great, and there are several shows that will appeal to toddlers....
