i just went here this week (hence the snow in my hair) and i have to tell you this is the happiest ive been with my hair for the better half of a decade. im not super picky but NO ONE has been able to keep my hair dark brunette with subtle highlights (she did balayage) without going overboard and/or making my hair brassy or unnatural. what i liked the most is that mia (the owner) explained every. single. step. to me and was honestly so patient. also, ive never been in a salon where i could RELAX. every salon ive gone to always has such chaotic energy. she has a policy where you can make a note when booking your appointment that you dont feel like talking. that may not sound like a big deal but its the first time i could just zone out in weeks. i never leave reviews as you can see but its four days later, im still super happy in my demeanor and with my hair. if youre reading this mia thank you so so so much. ill see you in two months! Went to Mia for the first time last week after being referred by a close friend who said “Mia is incredible” and now I know what she meant! I lightened my hair for years but then decided to return to my natural dark brown a year and a half ago, only to miss my lived in highlights look. I just had the best cut and color experience with Mia. I highly recommend Mia if you’re looking for a custom cut that will be meticulously tailored to your liking. I am always so indecisive when it comes to my hair but Mia took the time to go over my inspo pictures and customize my haircut based around what I showed her. She will not steer you in the wrong direction and listens to your likes/dislikes when it comes to hair. I also did a color service to cover up some grays.
