I pass this nursery all the time. I decided to stop in and make a purchase that I initially was going to make online with Home Depot, but I decided to patronize this business albeit costing a little more for the items. To my surprise, the sales associate was so unpleasant, it was almost unreal. I asked about plastic to protect my car as the items were getting loaded int my care and he's telling me I should've gotten the plastic before I came inside to pay. I let that go. I asked him why he was being so mean, hoping he would adjust his demeanor, but to no avail. I told him it doesn't cost anything to be nice and smile. I proceeded with the transaction and as I was reading the care instructions, which recommended plants be watered every 2-3 days, I inadvertently said out loud "so they don't need water everyday", reason being that I just planted some other items that I intended on watering daily. However, his response was "isn't that what the paper says." Well I never. I utilized restraint from cursing him completely out and went about my merry way. Honestly, I would not return to this place of business because I don't particularly appreciate such unpleasantries when I'm spending my hard earned green rectangles. One of the sale consultants recommended that I speak today. I spoke to Dave was truly a sales consultant. Know his product inside out.

He also showed me how to work the machine. Also spoke to me about how his company stood behind their product.

I've been in sales more than 28 years and I was really impressed to see this gentleman appreciate his work.

I'm in the process of starting my own business and landscaping. This might be my first stop because I am looking for a company that has the old American tradition putting the customer first and putting the company behind the product. Very wide selection, very good prices, i spent hours looking and was pleasantly impressed by the wide range of items with affordable pricing!

However, the customer service is SEVERELY lacking, especially from the gentlemen that only work in the inside (the owners, i’m assuming). Do not ask them questions, say good morning, or even look in their direction because they will rudely ignore, or give you a rudely toned, rushed answer to questions about their products

I guess because the selection of products is so much better than their competitors so they don’t need to care about when being respectful. In their defense though, it’s not likely that they get many people of color shopping for plants and trees.
