Had a birria torta and two steak tacos. My wife had a steak burrito and a birria taco. Meat for all items was cold, dry, and had a burnt propane or gas flavor. Either cooked on too high heat or for too long, or the burners aren't clean and fully combusting the fuel, or ready meat is stored by the source for the burnners... None are good options. That gas flavor isn't appealing. The burrito had cold meat but warm rice indicating timing issues. I had ordered by phone, then walked in at dinner time on a Wednesday, to hear "no beans left" to those in line.... Which is a staple along with rice for plated dinners. Not sure how that happens. Saw someone get handed their to go order after a decent wait, only to be told to get in line to pay. Dine-in and Carry-out all have to line up together, while food gets cold. Lined up, my order wasn't ready. When it was ready 10 min later, I had to get back in line, and asked if I had paid or not yet. I'm all for giving new local business a chance but honestly just seemed disorganized and it takes a toll on the food and service. Either way a shame as the area has stiff...
Read moreOur offices are located right next door, so we decided to cater lunch from Taquero Mucho. I am so glad we did. The overall consensus in the office was that everyone loved it.
I can personally comment on the following dishes that I had. Quesabirria Tacos - If you get the dinner option, you get 3 tacos with a side of rice and beans. The tacos were fantastic. The tortillas were cheesy and deep fried, and the beef was really flavorful. The consomme was also a great addition to dip the tacos in.
Rice - The rice is flavorful and a great side option.
Mexican Street Corn - I love elote and street corn, so I was excited to try theirs. It definitely hit the mark. You can get an 8 oz or 12 oz side option. The corn was mixed with cotija cheese and packed some heat to it. It must have been the chili powder! It was so good, I went back the next day and picked up a 12 oz side to enjoy over the weekend.
Look forward to trying some of the other...

The asada and the Quesabirria dinner are some of the highlights – generous portions of tender meat, fresh ingredients, and the perfect balance of flavors. The rice and beans are light and perfectly cooked, and the guacamole adds a nice fresh touch to every meal.
