I work for a local Rehab center in Roanoke. Today we loaded a few residents on a bus to take them today's events. We have pictures of the event allowing our residents to get shirts and soda without waiting in line last year. This year with a bus of 6 patients we were told that nothing like that happened last year. They pretty much called our director a liar.(Our residents need medications and they cannot walk or sit in the sun all day) One of the residents that was super excited to go said that they were made to feel unimportant. After that I followed the music but but ended up at a railroad tracks & the tall grass. Walked back & took the sidewalk. I had to ask a med student I think which way to go. Forgot my camping chair. And people wouldn’t crowd you up so much coming from the back of the pit area to the front , especially when you are very short. It should be first come first serve !!!
