Wisconsin couple here visiting, found this place for a baked good after lunch. Upon entering the shop is immaculate with old but restored design and very cozy. Furthermore, the cinnamon bun was 10/10 and is where I recommend starting for baked goods. The browny was great too, salted caramel topping if that’s your jam. I was also surprised at how good the coffee was. Oftentimes shops do one thing very well. Albemarle bakery does BOTH. Recently discovered, this is a gem of a place to come have coffee and a light bite to eat! The folks here are genuinely great to everyone, and they have done an amazing job getting this place open! There is plenty of room to enjoy the company of friends or just by yourself. Huge wrap around porch with seating as well as cozy seating inside! I can't wait to get back by for another cup of coffee and slice of quiche. That cinnamon roll looks like it will be on moist of things to eat next! ...

This new coffee shop in town is definitely worth checking out! I find myself wanting to come back for an americano every day. The owners are so kind and I have enjoyed chatting about espresso machines, latte art and more with them. The food is great - I’ve had the quiche and salted caramel brownie - both of which I would highly recommend! The porch seating is all shaded and there is plenty of seating inside with good AC.
