RB&W District Park — Attraction in Rock Falls

This place is decently nice to walk around at and sit and look at the sculptures by the river. Especially for a small town. It is only ok though because of the fact that the city still has yet to out in the fountain that we were all looking Most forward to our of that whole place... Especially us parents... as the large concept picture that they had right next to the road at the site, for us all to look at as we drove by, while this area was under construction, had a rendering of a Splash Pad fountain surrounded by a few benches, which are there, the benches and the whole space for it. We all who saw that have been highly disappointed that this feature was never put in for some reason, when it is badly needed in this area for Some kind of outdoor family water fun since most of us don't have boats to cruise around the river and get to the sandbars... They just filled the space it was supposed to be in up with mulch yet Still surrounded by benches... 🤔🤔🤔 Like, who want a to sit on beaches looking at a pool of mulch?? 🤔🤷🏽 lol. Also the stage is nice, but why put those four pillars up as obvious foundation for a roof of some kind and then never put a roof on them?? Like, what purpose do those serve ate he your corner of the stage now? They have no lights on them even to see a possible purpose there, so they are just taking up space that could be used by the performer. makes no sense city of Rock Falls Illinois... Would you please tell the citizens what's up with the unfinished features we were lookong very much...

This park is great to look at some art pieces. There is little shade to cool off, so it may be hot outside. The art is directly next to a Holiday Inn Express Hotel. In addition, the park is near the river, so it is a great view if you are walking around. I have been here multiple times to walk around. I'm not sure if information is listed on or next to the art pieces. I've heard that these art pieces may be rotated out with more pieces, but I'm not sure when that will be and if that...

Beautiful place. It's near the river. Excellent views of old warehouse or industrial buildings. Very close to the river to see wildlife or boats. You can see a dam to your right. Looks like they have concerts there or something. There's cool stone seating facing towards a stage that's covered. There's also multiple statues around. Very photogenic...
