Terrible experience. I have been to this place a few dozen times and have always felt it was 5 out of 5, but tonight completely changed my opinion. This young girl, who said she was the manager "running the place", had the absolute worst attitude I've ever experienced in any restaurant, ever. She forgot one of the initial drinks and then when reminded was stone faced unapologetic, like I was bothering her by reminding her... there were maybe 2 other tables seated. Then an incorrect drink was brought out and when we pointed that out she brought out another and charged us for both - I went to the front without attitude, even thanked her for serving us & told her what the mistake was and she sarcastically says "I'm so sorry, there's nothing we can do about that, you can't undrink the drink, can you?" And then proceeded to claim that she didn't "have the "key" to take drinks off the receipt" and condescendingly says "I really hope to see you here again" and yes you'd think there was a genuine apology given at some point, but you'd be wrong, and now imagine all of that being said in the most condescending and sarcastic way possible. When asked if there was new management she went on a tirade about how the owner abandoned the establishment for the last 3 months to go to conferences and she was left as the only one in charge (without a key!) and she was tired and the kitchen was backed up a few times today... I went into that place so happy and excited to have one of my favorite meals with my family and I left so upset and incredibly offended that I'm not sure if I could ever eat there again. That immature girl has no place being the face of your business. She was outlandishly rude and ruined the entire night after what was supposed to be a special dinner. My stomach hurts and I'm still floored by the way we were treated. By the way, the way you could have fixed it was taking off another item from the check to make Your mistake right, it's not rocket science. It was obvious that this wasn't just about your day being hard, but you taking out your emotions on patrons who are paying hundreds of dollars for basic services and basic decency. ...
Read moreTonight the restaurant was being run by the bartenders because the regular staff is on vacation. It took a long time to get our food. Dinners came to different tables at a very staggered rate. They shouted out what food was on the plate to find who it belonged to. My food was cold and mediocre. My daughter liked her dinner. The bathroom was not clean. another bartender came into work and did not wash her hands but went straight to work waiting tables. Two bartenders working as waitresses were doing shots right in front of me. When I called to discuss it with them, they said that they were water. So they were toasting and slamming back what looked like thick liquid and shot glasses? The worst thing you can do to me is treat me like I’m stupid. Definitely will be reporting them to the state and definitely will...
Read moreFood was good! Service was terrible, weren’t many people inside and yet we had to call a worker over to get our order in after sitting for 10 minutes. When the food came, they forgot my side of ginger and when I asked for extra, I didn’t get it until the 3rd time asking. Got many glares from the waitress with red hair, she had a terrible attitude and didn’t acknowledge my table once. The table behind and beside me also felt the frustration of the slow service the entire time there. They prioritize online and call-in orders and 6 people came in and out and got their food before our appetizer’s even came out. Would definitely recommend take out with this restaurant. The touch of tai (Somkit) in Dixon is a lot better and the drive is...
