PayMore- Buy, Sell & Trade Electronics — Attraction in Rockville

I came here to sell a mini work computer that I never used. It's my first time trying to sell/ pawn at a shop and I kind of imagined it to be kind of shady like the ones you see in the movies. I just really want to sell the computer and I didn't want to pay for shipping and wait. The shop was very clean and nicely curated to sell other electronics that were traded. It piqued my interest. The guy at the counter was polite and patient with me when he tried to tell me how much he'd pay for the item. We settled it. I am considering selling my other items. The rate could have been better, but it was fair.

Update: giving 5 stars now after selling an iMac, MacBook Pro, Apple Watch, and a HP mini computer. I don’t know their names but the manager and another gentleman has been very helpful in helping me sell my items. It took me a few tries to sell the iMac due to luck but customer service has been mostly smooth. They are doing better with giving customers more consistent quotes and less person and/ time dependent. One time they ran out of cash when I came because business was really good, I was abit annoyed. I can tell they aren’t just in it for the money but they actually like the tech stuff and knowledgeable about it. Will be back to...

came in there trying to resell some old speakers, equipment and an broken iphone after being told over the phone he would want to look at the speakers. I come to the store front and once i came in there stating that I wish to sell items (which is part of their whole marketing scheme) the associate is just dismissive about everything i brought in and couldnt take my speaker bc its an XLR speaker.... when the dummy could have just simply told me that over the phone that they do not accept XLR speakers only bluetooth speakers. Wasted my time and gas driving down for them to "evaluate" my products lol. When i said thank you for your time, the associate didn't even look my way and just said thanks out the side of his mouth while trying to chat with his coworker. I made sure to be kind the whole transaction so they probably wont expect this review. Horrid customer service, Horrid step by step product evaluation. Luckily I sold my gear down the street for a better price, but i thought itd be nice to share this experience with anyone second guessing to come here to buy or sell. Offered less than 2 pawn shops offered for my Galaxy s22 ultra phone that I just paid $387 for a new screen and frame and showed the guy the receipt of work done. He lied and said the phone is only going for $199 on ebay (I attached what ebay is selling them for, way more than $199) and false advertisement on price match, he said only if ebay offered it. I knew that was a lie cause ebay doesn't offer anything, it's a site to sell so the guy tried to rip me off and only offered $100 for my phone.
