Founders Park — Attraction in Roscoe Township

Only used the walking path and it is laid out very nicely. Unfortunately many of the dog owners are not respectful and don’t pickup the poop after their dogs. There must have been at least 20 piles on the walking path and many more on the grass edge. I also saw a man and his dog come in from the apartments and his dog was not on a leash and came charging at me and my little dog. Fortunately I was able to scoop up my little dog safely, the man said his dog was friendly, although I never trust a dog that is running toward us until I have properly met the dog. We walked further and the dog came running at us again, and finally the owner held him by his collar till we passed even though he had a leash and could have put it on.

I would highly recommend signage to pickup after your dog poops and to require dogs...
