Palm Valley Plaza — Attraction in Round Rock

I honestly did not even know this Dollar Tree was here. Yet it's been here for a few years. I visit the Walmart across the street at least 4 to 5 times a month. I'm glad I know it's there so I don't have to go into Taylor or Round Rock anymore. This store was clean and well organized. You don't see that at many Dollar Trees. They had a huge selection of Easter items which is very surprising to me. I usually have to go to several different stores to find Easter items such as baskets, headbands with bunny ears, stuffing, eggs in different sizes and colors, and even some eggs shaped like rabbits and chickens. They had Easter stickers and stamps. Quite a bit of Easter candy to choose from. Most of all they had different cute baskets to choose from. Not just buckets. Although the buckets were the same size as the ones at Walmart these will only cost you $1.25 rather than $5.00. To top it off the lady working the register was extremely friendly and talkative. I have yet to experience an employee at all the other Dollar Trees I have visited be so nice, professional and act like they enjoy their job. Most of them are usually moody and barely say hello. I didn't get her name but she was working the closing shift sat February 18th. She was older. She was not the manager because the manager had to verify my $100 bill wasn't fake. She was a grandma just like myself. I know this because we actually carried on a conversation while she rang me up TWICE that night! The baskets are not big enough so I made 2 trips. More proof that this store had a lot of what I was needing. I hope other Dollar Trees can follow the way this one is run. Starting with the cleanliness to being well organized to training or hiring employees that will positively represent that store rather than show how much they hate being there. Bravo to...

This place is #DollarTree on steroids 😍🤪 Great selections. Nicely stocked. Clean.

The have the $3/$5 sections with really awesome stuff. Cool T-Shirts too! Scooby-Doo and Yoda. It was 5 minutes til closing. As people were coming in, the workers were still courteous but at the same time making the customers aware they will be closing soon. 2 gentlemen. Very nice guys.

PSA to the peanut gallery: 🗣 Please stop digging through stuff like dollar tree is a yard sale or second-hand store. Everything is/was nicely displayed. These guys work hard to get the customers in line out of the store and keep the shelves stocked....they don't have time to clean up after messy people who don't care about others....

The staff was really nice and the cashier was really great at wrapping the glass items I purchased!! I ALWAYS go back to Dollar Stores with excellent customer service and this store had the best. I will drive miles and pass up a store if the store isn't organized, doesn't have a good selection or the staff is rude.... I'm going back to the Palm Valley Plaza store...
