The playground used to have a small slide, but now it’s a three-tower structure with no access for children under two. While it’s impressive, it completely excludes younger kids and those with disabilities. They designed it so that no child under three can actually climb up. I used to love watching my daughter use the ramp, but they removed it. They have enough parts to build a section for the little toddlers.
Additionally, there seems to be a lot of people hanging around on their bikes, smoking cigarettes. While I appreciate the addition of a fence around the playground, they need to fix it because it is so tall and dangerous for the little ones. At the very least, they should make a section for the younger kids. My daughter doesn’t like swings, so please build a small platform for the babies to play on with a small slide. The park attracts professional and amateur photographers who want to capture a special moment in somebody's life. There are two small amphitheaters at either end of the park. There's a very nice playground and water fountain for kids to play in. This park hosts events like the Green Market and annual yard sale. It is extremely walkable and peaceful. The only criticism I have is the music playing over the speakers. The last time we visited, it was...
