The Russellville “City Mall“ is not so much a mall as you know in the traditional sense, it’s more of a fancy strip mall with a section inside made up of small local businesses. Types of businesses here, include a furniture store, a planet fitness, there is a boutique coffee shop, Quiznos, an art store, a cafe, cosmetic store, kitchen store, book store and more locally owned small businesses. The kinds of places not associated with big chains and the places we want to support.
The commons area has indoor seating and is usually visited by Santa Claus once a year. At either end of the mall, the space on the south end is empty (formerly occupied by a bank) and on the north end a Goody’s.
Parking is plentiful and there is room for semi trucks and trailers to park on the north end in a parking lot that is rarely used. There is lighting and that particular parking lot is about one block south of Russellville PD.
