Pope County Library — Attraction in Russellville

I love bringing my kids to this library. We can spend hours looking at the books. Until today, I have never had a poor experience. My son just got his own library card, so we decided to take our kids to the library. As soon as we walked in someone front the front counter raises her voice to my husband asking if she can help him, he didn't know she was talking to him at first so he was confused. She then proceeded to say " you, with the hat! Can I help you?" He said that he was just here with his kids. The whole time we are looking at books she was staring him down like he did something wrong. He was wearing a plain white grunt style t-shirt, blue jeans and boots. I feel like he was profiled, for no reason at all. I have always taken the kids to the library by myself and this was his first experience...

Pope county library? Well it's the stop knowledge shop. Everything you need in one form or another is at your request and the service is excellent as they are wise. Very user-friendly service. 11 years old where the Red Fern grows. I have been hooked ever since. Finished it in 5 days . About an hour night until Thursday then I couldn't pull out of it laughing crying feeling really shook up when the boy fell on his axe. I actually thought about getting up to tell my mother because it shook me at 3:00 in the morning could not have understood but then again she was also a bookworm Thank you for your passion...

Golly gosh do I love books. Books books books. "Read more, read well" as Daerskoob is wont to say! By the gods do I love that book reading, universe-destroying psychopath! Anyway. The Pope County library is fantastic! The staff is always incredibly friendly... and nice! Their book store is always packed with wonderful books for purchase, and their check-out selection is vast and easy-to-access! Oh Discordia!
