Felician University — Attraction in Rutherford

Honestly this school sucks. They dont care about their students and all they want is money. Student conduct fined me $600 for sleeping over a friends dorm and accused me with dorm squatting. When i actually am a student and so many others that dont even go to felician stay there during the weekends and party w their friends. Tara and Laura are their names, are money hungry and grimey mean spirited ladies. Felician claims their a catholic university and compassion is one of their core values but had none for me when my friend offered me to sleep over her dorm during a snow storm because I had to walk over 7 miles because i didnt have a car to get to school/home. I appealed my case and the old VP was cool but left. This place has a high turnover rate. 3 new presidents and 2 new VP presidents during my two years there. I would see so many HS students looking at Felician as an option and if it werent for me being on probation i would tell them to honestly go to Bergen and get their associates and transfer to another school. Even the cafeteria staff in rutherford are rude and treat students like a old dog at the animal shelter. A cafeteria lady denied me a plastic spoon when spoons are available on request due to NJ state law. I emailed the dean and nothing ever came out of it. They definitely do intimidate students because it happened to me when i spoke out against the school. I graduated and got my diploma now hanging on my wall so its not much they could do to me now. But my two years here were miserable. They market to the traditional student and i am not a traditional student. Their lack of online classes sucked too. Even some of their advisors were inadequate and somewhat rude if you didn’t properly call them DR. I feel like they try to keep you there longer and longer. I had come in with my associates and they wanted me to take an intro to univ class like be fr i have an associates already. I had to fight with registrar in order to get credits transferred in from BCC. (They kept wanting me to take random classes & self seevice was always glitching) Always requested a graduation / degree audit to keep track of your credits. Save every email. Keep receipts of everything. Because felician will play in your face and delay your graduation date. This place is hell on earth.

Felician is the hand of evil men. They also hate when their students practice their first amendment rights to free speech. Google reviews are protected under the first amendment. Felician might have rules for their students but they are not above the federal government. Do...

I went there for four years. Some professor are really nice and helpful in ensuring you actually learn while others only teach to get a check. The advising is bad they only tell whats in the catalog, you might as well advise yourself. Most students in biology department take extra years to finish due to the bad advising. The cafeteria is nasty they have a slight cockroach problem in Lodi. The students get worse every year with the way they act. If you aren't a nursing student or athlete they will NOT extend their help to make sure your getting the full college...

If you care about yourself at all, DO NOT GO HERE.

FUTURE NURSING STUDENTS PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!

So many other reputable schools in the area for nursing and I highly highly suggest going to those universities/colleges instead.

Not only do the staff here kill your joy and love for nursing, they really do not care about anything except $$!

They will fail you, just so you have to pay more $ for tuition because you end up having to pay for 2 more semesters! It’s a scam and it only got worse after James Crawford became president.
