Zoo is very bad place. I’m not a greenpeace type of person, but here I clearly can see that animals are suffering, especially polar bears and seals. Polar bear was barely alive and not even in cold environment. Only good thing about this place is greenhouse garden - so if you want to save your time and mental health - upon entrance near the pond with ducks just turn right into visitor center in the plants section. When you get outside through bonsai trees section - don’t miss Japanese garden, it is very good and authentic.

On the entrance staff asked us to book tickets online, although there was no line or high demand. Only thing they were needed to scan a booking barcode on entrance. Why all thus hustle? If you want to count how many people are inside - count on enter and exit points. Asking for masks even outside, although staff walking around without them, although it would be better for visitors and animals if administration send all mask-police dummies to clean windows and cages with animals.

Recommend this place only for...

We love this place. It is amazing they make nature, animals and education so accessible and affordable for so many people to come and enjoy. For a small voluntary donation, you can be transported to a sunken garden, tropical rain forest, see primates and polars bears and so much more. The last time we visited, we heard the male lion roar. What an incredible rumble.

Open year round, it’s fun to go even in the winter and there are always activities, story times and naturalists available to show and talk about various wildlife. Thanks for making this such a special place all...

Love to visit zoos everywhere I go. This one was absolutely wonderful.. They even had a show with the seals. It made me feel like a kid again. they had a variety of animals. The giraffe feeding seem to be a big attraction. overall, I think it was a great place to visit if I had only one complaint, it would be the enormous amount of bees.. most people just ignored them, but I'm not a fan so I kept trying to get away from them. but that's no fault of the zoo. That's just...

I love visiting the Como Zoo and Conservatory with my nine year old boy. Parking can be a little crazy but they have a smattering of free lots and also free street parking. I love walking through the gardens inside and out. The rotating conservatory room is always fun to explore! The flower designs are so creative and beautiful. They also have a Japanese garden that is so interesting and unique. They also have mini golf and a separate area that has rides too. Such a fun day!
