Oh my goodness, this place is amazing and beautiful! I will definitely be going back! There are lots of animals to walk around and see. The plants and the gardens in the palm domes are perfect to relax in and walk around for the afternoon. There is an outdoor Japanese garden along with a bonsai display. Lots of large animals that kids would love! The price is free but a small donation is appreciated.

If you are like me and need a little vitamin D, a needed exposure of intoxicating sensory tropical vibes and that calming odor... you have to visit! I absolutely love to make often, short trips year round!! No matter what season you visit, you are able to still take in the natural smells and feelings that warm climates offer, that Minnesota can’t possibly “naturally offer.” It’s worth a small donation, but is free to enjoy if you are having a rough patch and still need the positive mental stimulation to get through these hard times! Plus, right next door... is a free zoo-donations are also...
