Spacious public park with a seemingly hyper abundance of picnic areas with even fewer picnic tables. The far west end of the park contains the remains of an old baseball diamond.
With that said, amenities for public sports facilities at this particular park are virtually nonexistent which is disappointing considering the higher property taxes currently proposed by the city as of 2024. The former baseball diamond could potentially make a great home for a new area water park.
Otherwise, the city could at least build a basketball court or erect some goal posts for an improvised open air soccer arena.
