Beautiful library. It's a Carnegie, with an appropriately stunning exterior of beautiful brick columns interspersed with large, arching windows, and a gorgeous cornice runs around the building with highlights of lapiz blue and gold. Inside, the architecture is similarly grand, with the same windows providing tons of natural light and the exposed brick lending the whole library a very cozy feel. A dazzling mosaic, created collaboratively by members of the community for the hundredth anniversary of the library in 2017, decorates one wall by the staff desk, and the staff themselves are super friendly and helpful. The kids section, in particular, is outstanding. Located in back, separating it somewhat for the benefit of both kids and adults, it sits under a large domed ceiling. A number of bookshelves radiate out from the center, which hosts a big table surrounded by two semicircular kid-sized benches, and the whole area is filled with bright decorations and various activity stations to engage all different ages of children. The adult section, while more limited, has seating options that are as tucked away as possible, and a large selection of DVDs, CDs, and books in Mandarin and Korean (as does the kids section). There is also a specially curated section from local neighborhood authors! Other neat features include prayer mats available upon request, a lactation room, hotspots to check out, and a large auditorium downstairs with a piano available for reservation for anyone who wants to practice....

A "Nature Smart" library, they're getting the kids outside in a beautiful garden space surrounding the library to play! Staff at this library are always extremely friendly...
