Title: A Breathtaking Experience at Coki Beach, St. Thomas
Nestled on the picturesque island of St. Thomas, Coki Beach stands as a captivating tourist spot renowned for its stunning views and abundant marine life. During my recent visit to this tropical paradise, I was enthralled by the breathtaking scenery and the mesmerizing encounters with marine creatures, particularly an eel and flounder, while snorkeling. Coki Beach, with its unparalleled beauty and unique charm, has become my preferred destination compared to other tourist spots in the area.
I. The Captivating View: As I set foot on the powdery white sands of Coki Beach, I was immediately greeted by a panoramic view that took my breath away. The crystal-clear turquoise waters stretched out before me, merging seamlessly with the azure sky. The lush greenery surrounding the beach added a touch of natural beauty, creating a serene and idyllic atmosphere. The view from Coki Beach is truly a feast for the eyes, leaving visitors in awe of the sheer magnificence of nature.
II. Abundant Marine Life: One of the highlights of my visit to Coki Beach was the opportunity to snorkel and explore the vibrant underwater world. As I submerged myself in the warm waters, I was greeted by an array of colorful coral reefs teeming with life. It was during this immersive experience that I had the privilege of encountering an eel and a flounder. The eel, with its sinuous movements and striking appearance, captivated my attention, while the flounder gracefully glided along the sandy seabed. These encounters were truly magical, allowing me to witness the wonders of marine life up close and personal.
III. Preferred Destination: While St. Thomas boasts numerous tourist spots, Coki Beach holds a special place in my heart. Its unparalleled beauty and the opportunity to witness marine life in its natural habitat set it apart from other destinations. Unlike crowded tourist spots, Coki Beach offers a more intimate and tranquil experience, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the serenity of nature. The breathtaking view and the chance to encounter fascinating marine creatures make Coki Beach my preferred choice when compared to other tourist spots in the area.

Read moreOk folks, yes I rated this beach at three stars. THE biggest reason is safety. I've lived on St. Thomas for two years, and its just not safe in this area, especially after the hurricanes. St. Thomas has become a little rough in areas (the government and law enforment are stretched thin) and this area is one of them. To give you a perspective on this prior to the hurricanes I couldn't get home from work twice because of shootings and fatalities in the road leading to this beach. If you're fine with all of this, then by all means check it out.
The snorkeling here is some of the best on the island (fish come up to you like pigeons asking for food and this is the first place that I have seen a baracuda) and the views are amazing. However, for a safer beach experience you can do this further down smith bay at Sapphire Beach and Lindquist beach (see my reviews for those beaches). If you're coming off a cruise ship stick to Magen's (the best for cruise goers post hurricanes). I love Chester's chicken (see my review) that is at the road to the this beach. Fried juicy chicken + beach day = my paradise, and its better to get everything here as opposed to the beach because its cash only there and not so awesome. The characters lurking around may also be up to no good, one of our friends was offered drugs out here, so be vigilant and don't bring any valuables. This is the lowest rated beach I have done on Yelp for St. Thomas and the US Virgin Islands, I hope the government is able to clean this place up as it is an amazing spot for beach relaxation...
Read moreMy favorite beach ever !!! Water is so blue - just incredible blue. This is not your traditional beach for relaxing this is a busy and fun beach. Loud music, drinks, food and many many more. The only one beach where you can get serving right the way under your umbrella. They have bunch a restaurants and you do not have to move a finger or walk. Food and drinks coming right the way. Great cocktail and also bucket with beers. They also have hookah and extras. You can braid your hair or get a small souvenir made from palm tree leaves. Also they offer unique massage with sea weed wash. Beach get busy around noontime. Beach chair was $5 umbrella starting at $10. Great service. You can leave your towel and take a walk to the aquarium, nobody touch or move your belongings. Beach close around 5 pm that is time when taxis leaving to town. From town to the beach they charged us $10 per person. From the cruise ship or airport is $14 per person. The drive is longer but you can enjoy passing true the entire island. Sand is soft and white, no sea shelfs you can find some pieces of corals. There is ice-cream shop as soon as you enter the beach - try coconut and rum and raisins. Also changing rooms and restrooms on the right side - not bad inside 😀 There was a lot of people snorkeling but i would not go there specifically for it. That is a party beach ! My favorite day...
