L.B. Day Amphitheater — Attraction in Salem

Went to Kane Brown, but what a hot mess the venue was. First no notice on website as to where the entrance was. No notice of where handicap parking would be. Had to walk a long way only to find a very, very long line just to get in. Why???? Should have had way more ticket takers & entrances. Then we get in to find they are only selling alcohol near our section. Drinking fountain does not work. Water for sale is clear around on the other side. Why can't you sell water in multiple places???? People were saying they waited 40 minutes in line just to get water and it was hot out. Then they ran out of water completely even before the concert started. Unacceptable not to have water available!!!!! Then because it was taking so long to get people in the concert started late. This is a review of the venue, not the artist. Kane Brown 7/31/19 - badly organized. Parking was a joke. We waited in line for a parking spot for 45 minutes, just to join a line of people wrapped around the amphitheatre to get in the gate. Security was nonexistent. No bag checks, wands or metal detectors. Once we got in, there were merch booths and drink stands surrounding the entrance, creating massive crowds. They should have spread them out and been further from the gate. Only one bathroom in the whole place! We were told beforehand that there would be water stations to fill water bottles. Beach Boys Concert was awesome! Loved that they have family members in the band and that the family came on stage was so moving. Was one of the last nice summer evenings and it was lovely! Very sweet and nostalgic concert. The only thing the fairgrounds needs to improve is having more exits. Getting out was an hour and a half nightmare. Need more people directing. Add more knowlegable people who know how to move traffic. Was not fair in how they moved people out of there. If there was a disaster it would of been catastrophic.
