Extreme Velocity — Attraction in Salem

I ordered an airsoft M4 from their website, and they charged my card for the full amount, and nearly a week later they called me and stated they no longer had those in stock. After some discussion, they stated for $20 more, I could get the same thing in a different color. They then explainded that the battery and charger no longer came with the gun and I would need to buy them as well...

I felt nickle and dimed the entire time I was on the phone with them, and their line of B.S. changed regularly as we talked. First the items weren't in stock, then they were in stock in a different color and more expensive, then I needed to pay for included items (battery and charger) separately. I cancelled the order before they could get to the part where I would need to pay additional shipping.

These guys sounded like a company that regulary deals with people that would put up with thier shinanagins becuase they are young, inexperienced consumers. If you're not willing to bend over and be taken advantage of, I would steer clear. Now we will see how long it takes to get the charge against my card returned...

Took my wife paintballing here earlier this last month for her birthday (want to say October 6th) thoroughly appreciated the way their check in process is set up (tablets on stands out of the way of others but easily identified by the entrance). Rental gear is already in lockers and staff assigns a key which IMHO keeps things a bit less cluttered and staff are professional whilst still being friendly. Only one low key complaint: Sawdust on what seemed like painted concrete got just a hair slick (although no doubt much better than just painted concrete after a couple of matches). If your significant other, friend or family member has a birthday take them here and pressure them into the gauntlet (unless your significant other takes things too seriously) I got to show my wife some love at about 280fps AND she got a voucher to go back(which is a win-win as since then she's been itching to get back onto a field. The staff here is amazing. I came in a few months ago and bought my first marker. Joey the manager was extremely knowledgeable on all the products. Went with an Empire Axe 2.0. He has been super helpful every time I come in. He has helped me set up my gear and pointed me in the right direction for add ons to help with my game play. Wyatt the field ref is great. He always keeps it fun and safe. Sets up great games for players of all skill levels. Extreme Velocity is a super fun place and they offer way more than just Paintball. You can play Lazer tag or Jelly ball on the back field reffed by AJ another super nice employee here at Extreme Velocity. Good way to start for younger players. Will be having my sons 6th birthday party here. Always feel welcomed even being very new to the sport.
