I've been coming to this park for years especially during the summer. Mill Creek runs through it and is a nice local place to cool off in water that's much cleaner than the Willamette. The majority of it isn't deep, but has a couple areas that are 5ft or so. A few years back and environmental Middle School also made a nice little trail what's some educational signs and a couple more spots where you can access the water. There is also a newer playground and a baseball field.

Had a horrible exp. With a cashier next to us! Yep, I said next to us! Lol I don't think she was a fan of my daughter's beautiful brown skin and curly hair. She caught herself makin over exaggerated faces at us. Then when it was my turn I was talking to her manager who happened to be ringing me up. My daughter is a pretty sweet kid and she came to my ear to ask if she was doing something wrong cuz that lady kept giving her mean looks on purpose. So I just said sometimes it's hard to bask in another person's beauty and shine. And she might be having a ruff day who knows. And she said, just kill em with my kindness right momma! Then this lady turned around and said I know you aren't taking about me and started talkin crazy! I just said ma'am you been lookin all overly peculiar our way and she had the audacity to tell my daughter to "go stand" over away from me! "Outta her sight!" Bahaha I kept my manners but had to express my thoughts in a way that she could understand AND wouldn't forget. The manager lady that was ringing me up was very nice and had to tell drill Sargent Debbie! To cool her jets a few times. I'm not sure what's in tha water these days but luckily for her I took part of that holy water baptism , over 11 years ago. So hands were not thrown & words were spicy yet affective! I will still go...

This Safeway should win an award for worst Safeway in operation. The employees always seem put off by you being there. The lines are always into the aisles and when you do reach the cash register, you still have to wait for the cashier to finish their conversation with their coworker. It truly seems like everyone there hates their job. I don't like to make generalizations but seriously everyone and the sandwich people, don't get me started with the sandwich people. I swear any time I've been there, they are trying to assemble 50 3 foot sub sandwiches that no one will buy and they act like you have just stopped them from achieving some sandwich record they really never wanted to win anyway. I did however once encounter a very nice man that worked there and helped me get a balloon. I don't believe he works there anymore so don't expect any...

Not a bad little shopping center, and the location is super convenient to get to. The Safeway here has a wonderful meat and seafood department as well as gorgeous flowers in their floral department.

There's the always wonderful Dollar Tree if you want to wonder how in the world you spent 40.00 if everything is a dollar(as you carry out 4 bags of random treasures), and altho I haven't personally tried it, there is a cute drive-in type burger joint that looks promising.

The only real downside is that the parking can get a bit tight, especially in...
