Walked into this coffee shop after seeing awesome reviews and wanted to try it! I understand being tired during a shift and am a barista myself; but đ this place dropped the ball. Rude and dismissive service after the cashier inputted our order incorrectly. Patiently waiting for our drink to be called (after finishing the food) we walked up to the counter to see when the drink would be done. The barista heard us say which drink it was, and brought over the drink that was sitting on the counter saying, âthis is your coffee, itâs been sitting there for a whileâ. The reason it was sitting there is because it was not what we ordered, maybe? We even said âoh is this the WHOLE MILK VANILLA LATTE?â She quickly said yup and walked away. Haha, afterward, I walked up to get the right coffee, and said âhey, we ordered this whole milk, vanilla latte, this is just oat milk and espresso.â I watched the lady put vanilla into the lukewarm drink, still having the wrong milk. This came off as passive aggressive. Feeling awkward, I took the drink back to the table and asked if it was okay. My partner said it was gross. So I took it back and said, âwe will not drink this, you guys can have it back if you are not willing to fix it.â No one said a thing back to that or cared to repair anything. I sat down and gave them a couple of minutes to make the right drink or ask us whatâs up, but everyone was just standing around and talking. It was only handled and corrected once we asked for a refund, workers continued to not take accountability for the miscommunication. I was right there when we ordered, everything was said loud and clear. Good coffee, rude/tired workers. It wasnât busy, it could have been handled better. I am not one to leave reviews, but the passive aggression was too much to ignore and am hoping this review might encourage some touch-ups on customer service :) Miscommunications happen all the time in coffee, just be nice and fix it, no need to belittle customers; you never know what kind of day somebody is having. Itâs a coffee drink, not a 5 star entree, remaking a drink is part of coffee serviceâsorry if...
Read moreIt is obvious that the people of suburbian West Salem know their favorite coffee spot. Its here, because this place was packed from the moment I walked in to when I walked out on a WEDNESDAY MORNING! I cant imagine what a saturday afternoon would look like here. I got a salt and herb bagel with cream cheese and a medium white chocolate mocha. The coffee was a bit sweet, but I love it that way, and it was a good quality cup of joe for the price. The bagel (which you toast yourself in a toaster to the left of the counter) was yummy, although quite salty for my taste. I spent under 10$ for 2 hours of studying in a wonderful atmosphere with great service and a cleanly environment. I will definitely come here again. Overall, great spot for studying, interviews, dates, family get togethers and midday...
Read moreWe came here to check out the coffee. It's ok, not great. Nice area to sit outside, interesting tables inside. They have an assortment of games to play while you linger.
Service was not that great. I'm hoping the lady was just having an off day. I told her it was our first time there, and asked her what she recommended. Instead of offering up a tasty drink idea, she began questioning me in a way that felt like she was interrogating me. Really, in a snide manner. "Do you like chocolate?" Ultimately, I just picked a random drink because I was so uncomfortable.
For convenience, it's close to Eola. No drive-thru for out-of-towners. A 5-minute drive further you...
