Tritac Shooting Range — Attraction in Salem

Been coming for years, bought a membership recently, the staff is extreemly friendly. Yes they are extreemly saftey oriented, I love this. Its a controlled safe environment. I brought my brother here his first time as an adult and hes not the most firearms savy person and neither am I. If you dont know ask for help, the staff are happy to help you. They are happy to point you in the right direction. If you a first time gun owner my advice go here try a few different things before you go buy anything seriously save you some cash of trying things and buying them as you go along. Steevie here actually got me turned on to the glock 17, that dude has a passion for what he does and will help you and teach you a thing or two. There is also a young lady who works there ( i am sorry I dont know know your name) she mentioned they offer instruction on firearms. Also wanna give her a shout out, heres why she didnt just try to sell me something, she did not act like a sales person, she meerly informed in a casual exchange and heck thats now something I want to do with my brother in the future. The staff here arent pushy, while yes they did mention and offer things I may be interested in they were not like a car dealership trying to get me to sign up that very second. I just went to my first shooting range. I have to say, this has been the very best experience I have ever had bar none. I worked with Joseph- super knowledgable and very down to earth. I told him I had no idea about anything when it comes to shooting and guns. He and his staff broke down the guns to a science and its physics! These guys literally hold ur hand through it all until you're comfortable. Every tip and pointer they give, are definitely from years of experience and should be headed. These guys are the best. They have such a good presentation that they could sell me a a broken down car and I'd buy it! haha.. Overall, efficient, knowledgable, approachable, very liberal thinking and overall great group of guys that will help you get comfortable and enjoy ur experience. Don't forget, the price is on point. Just shot my first gun at the Beginner Handgun class they held. Everyone I came across working here is very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Even though I was definitely nervous at first, as I had zero firearms experience, the instructor knew what he was doing and did a great job of breaking down basic handgun safety and mechanics. I think that most of the anxiety I had around guns was not knowing how to operate one or how they work; learning how to hold one as well as disarm one safely took away a lot of the initial reservations I had, and James did a great job emphasizing safety during class.
