Nopal Market — Attraction in Salinas

If you are looking for meat, you would have came to the right place in your local area about 2 months ago but now it has been remodeled and taken under new ownership.

Always been located in the shady side of East Salinas if you do decide to visit this market for local grocery needs please be aware of your surroundings in the afternoon.

The meat section has been discontinued although you can still come over for a decent selection of beer. Also your typical grocery. The fruits and vegetables area is not ready as I mentioned again it has been recently remodeled. Scratchers are no longer sold dispensed here. Agricultural equipment is limited but available. A small selection of wine. A few different kinds of Mexican imported bag of snacks.

Although there is no more meat section and some of the fruits and vegetables are limited the owner is friendly and welcoming there are a lot of cameras and operation in the property and during the night the front part of the store is well.

Come visit but please do tread carefully and don't linger...
