Extra Space Storage — Attraction in Salisbury

Angela and her team at Life Storage in Salisbury are fantastic! I needed the last remaining 10x15 indoor unit available, but I didn't need it for about 2 or 3 weeks, so she went in personally and pushed back the start date for me every single day so I could get in when I wanted to. She checked in a couple times to make sure that I knew what the hours were so I could come in to sign before they closed early on Memorial Day. She personally showed me to my unit and watched me to make sure I knew how to lock the door properly. Several people stopped to say "hi" to her on the way in. It's obvious that this is no show. She and her employees are genuinely good and friendly people.

The place is very secure. For the inside units anyway--which is what I wanted because I have items that cannot be subjected to temp extremes--there is a coded gate to get in behind a tall metal fence and then rows of individual buildings that are climate controlled and each unit has a cylinder lock you buy from them upon payment of first month's rent.

I also like the location in Salisbury which is a bit off the road so as not to be too conspicuous. It is in the back of a small strip mall which appears to have what looks like a childcare and indoor play center and a few commercial/retail places nearby.

They are super friendly, accommodating, and secure. I'm happy to be a tenant of theirs for as long as I need the space....

I've always gone to life storage for my storage needs. Angela goes above and beyond. I was informed that they actually had been bought out by extra space storage and would be merging. so, I contacted Angela and asked her about it. once confirmed I decided I would be going back to the Salisbury life storage location now owed by extra space and ran by Angela. with one phone call she not only had me a unit of my size but had me set up to move in within minutes. I have been working with her for years and she cares about her facility. here is a prime example. I rented a 5 by 5 for a month but only needed it for a few days to store some concrete in while it was raining out. when the sun came up, I emptied the unit and took my lock first thing in the morning. by 9:30 that morning Angela had done her routine rounds to make sure the facility was safe and clean and noticed my lock was not there she called me immediately to see if I had forgot to lock my unit at which point, I told her I didn't need it anymore it was temporally used to keep product dry during the rain. she closed the unit out and emailed me everything needed to clear me from the unit so I wouldn't have to come back to the office. when I say she goes above and beyond I mean that. thank you, Angela, for the peace of mind that my business equipment is stored safe and secured at...

My husband and I have had a great experience using Extra Space for our interim moving needs in Salisbury. Ironically, our online reservation didn’t go through which resulted in a live conversation with Daniel in customer service. This ultimately worked out great as he was able to navigate the best and most cost effective price package for us. Very happy about that. Shortly after, Angie from the office at that location called to introduce herself and highlight some helpful tips for using their facility. Having the pleasure of meeting her in person our first visit was handy as once more there was a small glitch with our access code and she got us back on track in no time with a smile. Highly recommend the direct drive up units making unloading SO much more convenient.
