REDFLAG!!MAJOR WARNING!! First year living here. Was told many allowable actions, had good communications from management about development, and was able to communicate with management team. Within 5 months they sold to a new LLC. We receive passive aggressive letters daily about multiple other residents. New rules being developed on top of current lease agreements. They have been systematically purging records and have lost even the most basic information provided by tenant leases. The team email associated with the new ownership does not actually work, and the website for Calder's Corner has not been updated to reflect any changes. Debbie is as personable as an aunt who is upset you inherited the family house because she wanted to sell it. I expect a major rent increase despite many building violations as well. Totally feel scammed at the moment
Edit 1: A property once holding beautiful shrubbery and live oaks have been butchered and looks like a prison. Really emphasizes how out of date the buildings truly are. Good thing they're cutting down all this to add 2 parking spaces.
Edit 2: Property owner is now increasing utility fees outside of contract. Asbestos found in joint compound and ceiling popcorn of all of building 2 and 1 apt in 5. 1/17
Edit3: Found out from a person looking to purchase a contaminated unit that they're still selling the units with asbestos(they have not received cleaning for asbestos) 1/23

Edit5: 3/3/20 - Was informed today, by mistake, that these apartments are transitioning into Condo units, and summarily the reason for the drastic price increase is to run out old tenants to resell them as such. If you're looking for an apartment, this is not the place.
Edit6: 6/1/2020 - The Last Correspondence(Maybe Cont): Debbie opened conversation with hostility, which quickly lead to a breakdown in conversation on both our ends. She is upset over this review and public acknowledgement of severe missteps they are taking for granted concerning residents. Just so we're clear, Debbie, Slander and Liable are not concerned about public perception of your actions, but only verified if what is being said is inaccurate. If you didn't realize, when you sent out those dozens of harassing letters, maintenance, and service reports, you included proof of everything I've mentioned. Please refrain from mentioning these terminology hence forth when referring to this review.

Just so ANYBODY can know, you can get rent an AWESOME house for the same asking price, and you won't be subject to lease breaks, aggressive and nosey administration, and poor facilities that have asbestos in the joints and failing foundation. Read moreThis property is old and poorly insulated, in the winter the down stairs area gets unbearably cold. The sliding glass doors as well as all of the windows are very drafty and need to be replaced. The plumbing and piping needs to be replaced. Had to have the maintenance to clear the drains on more than two occasions. Valves on the toilets upstairs had to be replaced more than once, and they painted right over the tile in the baths instead of replacing old molded tiles. The management is hardly ever on the property and hard to reach. The maintenance is ok but there is only so much you can do to an old worn out property. The water bill is divided up among every one on the property whether you use it or not, my bill more than doubled in less than a year.
